Prom and Naked Feet

It's been a wild ride; feels like it has been a year, not a week, since I posted my last blog post.  I guess you can say that a lot has happened this week, but, compared to my not-a-lot-of-things-happening normal schedule of a week, getting out of the house more than four times a week would be considered a 'busy week.'

We have tons of countdowns in our household, one of which just expired this past week.  My foot is naked now and we are slowly making our way to the next stage of rehabilitation.
Other countdowns include: when I am able to start walking rehabilitation; when my best friend comes to town; when my favorite human graduates from high school; vacation at SML 2016; and summer nursing school 2016.  The next few weeks will turn into months and challenges will be faced again and again and again.  But with the help of my tears and the motivation given to me from the Lord, I will get through these seemingly uphill battles.

Thankful for the perfectly placed opportunities with which God has blessed me. Thankful that through my disparities, He has been able to strengthen me. Grateful He heard my cries in the storm and has delivered me from the angst which seemed to hold me captive. Although I fail Him everyday, He continues to show me grace and his perfect love. He has given me the motivation to push on and persevere, no matter the road blocks.
Nothing is ever impossible with God.

Ode to the day where no one will ask me what I did to my foot and how I did it.
