Party Weekend

Party Weekend
A poem
written by Buizzy_Elizzy

Waking up late
Homework hungover
All this work
I wish it was over

First thing's first
Grab some coffee
Man, me and my books
Yeah, we a posse

On my caffeine high
Turn up the music
I can feel my alveoli
Sucking in the tunes

What is my motivation?
Well, I am not so sure
All I know is that stagnation
Is something I cannot endure

Care plans, reflective journals, and some studies
Oh what a smarty
Don't forget the gym!
Without it, it wouldn't be a party

You will always find my sister
Sitting across the kitchen table
Our books stacked high
Us, emotionally unstable

But even though it's a challenge
I wouldn't trade these moments
Cause God knows that without them
I'd be broken

The future is coming
Faster than ever
Just a little terrified
But it's such a beautiful endeavor

You have come so far
You little fighter
Keep it up
Your future is ever brighter
