Half-Way Home Stretch

And just like that, eight weeks down, eight weeks to go until graduation.

This past week, my nursing colleagues and I finished our last undergraduate eight week course; this course challenged us in many ways, one of them being the added time and concentrated workload which made these first eight weeks of our last semester pretty overwhelming.

But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?

There have been many instances during this semester alone where this rings so true; instances that test my patience, my knowledge, and my ability to reflect on my actions and evaluate the changes that need to be made in order to increase my professionalism and maintain personal sanity.

Life is going to be life, people are going to be people.
You cannot let yourself get worked up or stressed out over something, that in the end, is not really something to get worked up or stressed out over. Reacting to stress with more stress makes life much less enjoyable and more (duh) stressful.

With that, let these last eight weeks be savored, because they are the last eight weeks of my undergraduate studies. . . ever.
Bring on the crazy new life experiences, and the stress, and the chaos. I may be young, I may be naive; but I bring uniqueness, creativity, and optimism to all those around me.
What a beautiful thing, to watch a chapter close as a new one emerges, embracing both with such optimism and excitement for the future.
