A weekend away from the books can sometimes be delightful, or at least that is what I keep telling myself over and over again. . . but all kidding aside, this weekend was truly a blessing.
Rewind to six months ago. . . when one of my best friends asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. Now fast forward to this weekend. . . where the most special ladies in her life gathered for two days to celebrate her becoming a MRS.
My weekend was filled with fellowship with wonderful ladies, and more importantly, no nursing books. Although this may irk my OCD brain, it is nice to be able to get away and be a 'normal' young adult, spending time away from the books and with friends.
It's crazy to think that in four weeks I will be done with my first 8 weeks of my second full semester of nursing school. But even crazier, my cousin is getting married! oh my gosh!
